Five days. Four adventures. One epic week with Dad — here’s the whole plan, and exactly what to throw in your bag. Scroll. ๐
Outdoor stuff in the mornings (before the heat & the afternoon storms), the long drive day saved for the air-conditioned aquarium. Here’s how the week rolls.
I scoop you up from Nonno & Nonna’s and we road-trip back up to home base. Unpack, raid the kitchen, plan our attack. Chill first night.
Just 30 minutes north. We cruise over crystal-clear springs and watch turtles, fish — maybe a sneaky gator — glide by right under a glass floor. We go early while the water’s clearest and before the storms roll in.
Our big road-trip day (~2 hours, early start). Sharks, sea turtles, rays, and manatees — and blissfully arctic A/C while the afternoon thunderstorms do their thing outside. Worth the drive.
About an hour south. A morning ride on the Lake Minneola Scenic Trail — smooth, shady, straight along the water — then lunch downtown. An easy, breezy day to recharge between the two big drives.
Tampa, ~1.5 hours. If we’ve still got the energy, it’s coaster day — Iron Gwazi, SheiKra, Cheetah Hunt, Tigris. Too hot or too wiped out? Backup plan: pool day and a lazy night. Totally your call when we get there.
Pack it up and road-trip you back down south. Snacks mandatory, playlist required. Already scheming the next one.
Tap each thing as you toss it in the bag. It saves automatically, so you can come back to it.
